Andre became a Commissioner at Kartuku via Northstar Pacific's investment in Kartuku in 2012 and draws  on his vast network and experience in Indonesia to provide hands-on strategic counsel to the Board of Directors.



Andre is well versed in providing strategic guidance to firms. He currently serves as Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department at Northstar Pacific, which is Indonesia's largest private equity fund and also an affiliate of Texas Pacific Group (TPG) Capital, which also is one of the world's largest private equity funds. Naturally, Andre has been exposed to a wide variety of companies and becomes closely involved with and provides counsel to many of those which Northstar Pacific ends up investing in. Previous to joining Northstar Pacific, Andre served as Corporate Finance Head in PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk, the holding company of BUMA, which is Indonesia's 2nd largest coal mining contractor. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk recruited Andre from Triputra Group, where he started his career and where he honed his management skills and talent for analyzing and improving a business' performance. In his role at the Triputra Group, Andre specialized in lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement.

Andre also is no stranger to the world of IT and programming. His passion and interest in technology is reflected by his Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science, which he earned at the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
